I was out in my yard this morning and heard a call I didn't recognize. At first I thought it was a cardinal,but then realized it was too small,grabbing my trusty feild guide,I looked it up.Sue enough,color plate #415 there it was,a vermilion flycatcher.I only saw a male,but I could hear another one a short distance away,but I couldn't see it.I live in suburban West Palm and believe this to be a little far to the east for this bird.
