House Finches are undoubtedly breeding in SW Florida on the Gulf. We have had them on the Ft. Myer's CBC in the past and several of us have seen them here in Collier County as recently as last month (fide Kenneth Willams @ Pelican bay Community park in Naples). They have definitely expanded their range further south on the western part of the Florida peninsula. . . .
