Thanks to Margaret England and Vince Lucas for once again hosting a great day at STA5!!!
It was great to find Hawker and thank him in person for his spectacular Bread Pudding recipe and then later to be nearby when he binned the first 2 of the 8 canvasbacks that were on the last leg of our trip!
If you have never been to STA5, what are you waiting for? Get out there check it out-you won't be disappointed.
On Blumberg Road on the way in, I saw what I think was Vince's Krider's Red Tail, an Otter and two Caracaras. On the way back out and down Government Rd, I again found the Hawk and 5 more Caracaras AND Brian Raposa with the Cassins Kingbird in view at Oberns Organic farm (Kingbird Corner).
