Backyard FOS Male Painted Bunting/Squirrels

A male Painted Bunting has now appeared twice at my feeder today---hopefully he stays. I have several tube feeders hanging from tree trunks by a very thin line but the squirrels still scurry down to the feeders. I am going to try a liter plastic coke bottle threaded on the line to see if that works. If anyone out there has successfully deterred these creatures please let me know what has worked for you. I already have the dome and cone shaped baffles you can buy at a pet store and the squirrels are able to overcome them.
