Hi!
Two of my feeders are the Stokes squirrel resistant cages and yes I had one squirrel get in and it took it three hours to get back out. It was frantic. I have found that the Painted Buntings prefer the regular tube feeders. I think they are so skittish, that they want the feeder that enables the most rapid escape. I probably need to invest in another pole, but I will experiment with the coke bottle etc. for the ones I hang from the trees. Thanks----Jeanette
