I'm looking to get some binoculars for work. I can't spend more than $1,000 but I would like to get the best binos possible. It seems to me that $1,000 is about the threshold where good binoculars become great binoculars. These binoculars will be used in rugged and wet field conditions so durability is important. If anyone can give me advice on some really good/great binoculars for under $1,000 I would greatly appreciate it. Because this is a work purchase I am looking to only purchase new and from reputable retailers. Thank you in advance.
