No, I'm familiar with poison wood. The bird originally landed in a cocoplum and then moved to the poison wood. Pity I couldn't get a better picture. Mrazek pond was tide-out, muddy and very shallow water. Usual cast of birds but very few of them and all positioned into the rising sun. Pretty dull so we didn't stay. Even a brown pelican circled and flew away.
Speaking of botany; what is the plant with the bright orange berries at the entrance to eco-pond. About 4 feet tall, prolific berries but only in the area as you enter.
Just a bad bird day when I'm reduced to orange berries!
