Toe, jan 20 1977 and the christmas freeze of 89 were the two hardest
freezes in my lifetime. It snowed at my house in 77. Fairchild had 8 hours of 28 degrees in 89. Not arguing your theory, just trying to recollect weather events in the time frame. Kingfish runs in the 80's wouldn't have been cold driven, mid febuary 85 had the only freeze between 77 and 89. December 2010 had the coldest temps i've recorded since 1989. The last 3 years have been exceptionally warm, other than one week last january, virtually nothing under 50.
