Josh, the reason I bring this up is experience. I don't need electronic toys to tell me what's being caught by my cats. I am out there seven days a week and lots of nights. I have always modified my property for the benefit of wildlife. I'm in an urban setting, so I'm sort of a mini park and refuge for anything in the area. I've never owned a pesticide, and have lots of water. The main thing is, I'm out there every day, and I'm a keen observer. I know what wildlife a small parcel like this can support when managed for the benefit of wildlife because I've been doing this gor a long time. I can also tell you that cats have almost no impact over time on a property that size. We gained species, we increased population densities. I've seen all kinds of stuff the cats have caught, and you know what? It never had any overall impact on anything. Nothing ever got hunted out by cats, even on a small parcel with limited inflow of potential replacements.
