Kurt,
Cat's roam I know for a fact they are not staying on your property all day. Cats roam its a fact. I have seen them on camera traps over 2 miles away from their yard. You say that you have gained species and increased population densities. How have you come up with these facts.
I work with wildlife so to say you follow your cats and know what they are killing is not a valid argument. You are not with your cats following them around every day 24 hours a day. ( Thats why I suggested the Go-Pro a common item used by biologist to observe wildlife behavior or as you call it the electric toy)
I could not and would not make a bold statement like that in my line of work because I am not seeing the animals behavior 24 hrs a day.
