Nine photographers and birders joined Trey Mitchell and me this morning for a wildlife photo workshop in ENP. Unfortunately, the front that was supposed to pass through last night was still hanging around. While we started off OK under cloudy skies, steady rain caught up with us at Anhinga Trail. We were able at first to take some good wildlife shots under excellent subdued light, but concern for our cameras caused us to end the walk after two hours. We are hoping to reschedule soon (Brian - can we get a new date?), as all were looking forward to the predicted good weather that never materialized.

Best sighting of the day was a Snail Kite soaring (and kiting) over the boardwalk at Royal Palm. Good looks were had by all, but the poor kite never found any apple snails in the deep water of Taylor Slough.

Here's one of our early shots, before the rain.
