The wing shape alone is more than enough to rule out Snail Kite.

The white at the base of the tail in a Snail Kite is visible underneath in all plumages (see Wheeler's photo guide). Your photos show no such thing.

Then there's the plumage...which is great for Short-tailed, but completely wrong for Snail Kite. Only a female or juvenile could have a wing pattern anything like that, and it would be obviously streaked on the breast and belly.
