For the last few years Black hooded parakeet* (Nandayus nenday) were over my home in Key Largo daily, often in pairs or small groups, but sometimes in a flock of up to 20. Similarly, I'd see the Hill mynha (Gracula religiosa) here or in Florida City. Since this cold winter, I've seen neither.
Am I right in thinking that no one saw either species in this recent Spring count?
*I'm not sure if this is the right common name.
