A short break and a quick run to Crandon Beach produced a Common Tern and a Black Tern that was in complete breeding plumage among the Royal, Least and Sandwich Terns. No noteworthy shorebirds were present, but Sandwich Tern numbers have greatly increase, and there are signs of birds moving through. Time to get out and look. It's migration people!
