There is definitely an increase in birds moving; last night the Miami radar had some light movement during the early evening with some moderate late night movement. Tracking the signals back to sunset reveals that the targets were picked up as they were leaving the eastern Lake O area. We have been seeing some small movements out that region lately; we will take a stab and say that they are sod farm birds. Also of interest pulses were picked up by the St. Pete radar at sunset headed in a SSE direction. Visit Badbirdz2 to see what is happening at night over our heads.
