You are right-- there is definite yellow at the bend of the wing. However, I did not know the redstart had a yellow crissal-- thought it was on the tail itself. Also quite certain there were no wing bars. Here is a male redstart (yellowstart) I photographed at the same spot a couple of days earlier-- got him going away, but it shows white, not yellow undertail coverts.
