Its habits, creeping almost mouse-like in the low shrubs, I don't think match that of redstart, which, if anything is "showy" as it gleans through the trees. The yellow under the tail was striking, like the Virginia's I was used to seeing in New Mexico. Looking at the various field guides, there is great variability in the amount of yellow in yellowthroats-- In yellowthroats I'm used to seeing a throat that is more yellow than the crissum, but maybe we will never know for sure. That happens. Thanks!
