Both Brian, Larry and I have seen the photos and we all agree on them being Least Grebes! Congratulations to Lee & David Hasse for finding these birds! One is still there as I write this. Brian is on his way to see it. larry thinks there is a possibility of breeding! Wouldn't that be cool! Per Brian, LEGR hasn't been seen in Florida for nearly 30 years although I know that one was seen here in Naples by many members of the Caloosa Bird Club, including Vince McGrath sometime in the late 80's or early 90's. . . . Go see this bird. You may not see another one for "many mango seasons" as "Life Is Good" PB would say.
