Some corrections to Vince's post: First, Larry Manfredi, who is on his way to Key West (He's leading a Tortugas trip tomorrow for the Keys Birding Festival),could not pull up the Least Grebe photos on his phone, thus preventing him from confirming the ID. Second, I'm not on my way to see the bird today; it's getting too late in the day to head all the way to Boca. So please don't wait for me to confirm if the bird is still there this afternoon. I will be at Kendall Indian Hammock Park tomorrow morning for the TAS walk, then will head up to Boca to look for the grebe. If any one wishes to join me, I recommend carpooling.
Finally, thanks to Robin and Trey for posting the grebe photos, and thanks to Lee and David for alerting us to this rare sighting.
