Attention all this afternoon we went to Barnes to search for that Wilson's that was reported. Unfortunately we got off from our car and began to walk the leaf litter trail. Almost immediately we heard our car alarm and started running back to the car. Eventhough it only took us 30 seconds to run to the car all our stuff bags & coolers, Mariel's purse, a field guide were stolen thru our back window that was busted.
What a horrible way to end our day. We searched and searched for Mariel's EEL beige tote with a Zebra Long Wing Butterfly on it that had her black purse in it and our green bag hoping they had dropped some of our belongings. We filed a police report but it doesn't change the fact that everything was gone with the robber. We would appreciate it if anyone finds anything to please contact us. We suggest everyone be very aware of their surroundings! We have no idea how they made it off without a trace! Needless to say we won't be going to Barnes for a while. They must have been watching and targeting us because we were the only car parked there.
