This Wednesday while out in the Glades sampling we saw a White-tailed Kite. It was coming from Chekikas direction, we were somewhere inbetween Pa-hay-okee and Chekika. It must have been around 9-9:30am when the Kite was spotted. A real treat for us while we were up to our waist in Shark River Slough. We also had a life Butterfly, a Phaon Crescent (Phyciodes phaon) and a life Dragonfly a Golden-Winged Skimmer(Libellula auripennis). Awesome day at work!
