The Smooth-billed Anis along Old Griffin Road fledged three young this spring. I took a photo on May 10th. with two young birds plus the adult. There are still other small flocks of anis around Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County as well as a couple of other counties. The birds are becoming pretty darn rare which is really a shame. I used to see them fairly often as a kid in the Pinecrest area, I doubt there are many if any there now.
