There was a flock of Anis that would work the canal that ran north and south of Killian Drive between SW 97th Avenue and SW 100th Ave for a long time, and I would frequently have them in my yard, which abuts the canal. There were approximately 12 birds in the flock in the early 90s. The flock gradually got smaller and smaller (eventually down to 2-3 birds) and visits more sporadic, and eventually they disappeared. My last record was of 2 birds (I believe) seen in my yard on the day of the 2004 Kendall CBC.
My last Dade record was a calling bird at Matheson in the spring of 2006.
