Paul Bithorn, Trey Mitchell, Rock Jetty, and I had a great day birding south of Cutler Wetlands. Birds of interest by location:

Blackpoint Marina and Jetty:
Ruddy Turnstone
Red-breasted Merganser
Willet
Black-bellied Plover
Summer Tanager

Dump Marsh:
Northern Waterthrush
American White Pelican
American Bittern
Yellow-headed Blackbird
Red-tailed Hawk
Shiny Cowbird (2 females amongst the Brown-headed
Short-tailed Hawk
Northern Harrier
Merlin
Peregrine Falcon
Kestrel

Water Treatment Plant:
Lesser Black-backed Gull
Broadwing Hawk

Flow-way:
Stilt Sandpiper (2)
Long-billed Dowitcher
Lesser Yellowlegs
Greater Yellowlegs
