So are you saying that until you and other members of the FOSRC give their imprimatur on any supposed IBWO "evidence" i.e. sighting i.e. a photograph or sound recording that said evidence is a non sequitur? If so, that's pretty ludicrous in my way of thinking. There are undoubtedly many birds in Florida that never get reported to the FOSRC and the reasons for this differ, but that's another post. That still does not make the sightings any less legitimate. Secondly, according to the FOS' own "official" checklist of the birds of Florida, IBWO is already on the list (with an "x" designation). Consequently, I really don't see what the FOSRC has to do with any of this matter regarding purported (either verified or not) sightings of IBWOs in Florida. . . .
