Hi all. I would sometimes attract insect eaters to my feeders in central NY when the seed was contaminated with bugs like inchworms or simply as a perch when it was unoccupied. Is it a reliable discriminating observation to see a bird so far from its normal habitat do something a bit atypical?
Also, is the group satisfied that the bird is too blue or the tail/beak adequately imaged to rule out a scrub jay?
