There were a lot of birds at Cape Florida this morning and I bet we missed
seen a lot because we were stuck in traffic crossing the causeway for over 1
hour. By the time we arrived it was 10:30 and the wind had picked up. Most of
the bird we saw were in heavy cover.

I want to add one more warbler to Robin's list. Web and I saw a Female
Townsend's Warbler near the pond trail. Toe missed it because he was looking at
a Swainson's Warbler. Web saw everything but the head of the bird. It was deep
in a Sea Grape and we had to work hard to see the bird. There was no way to
photograph the bird or at least not easily.

We both were intrigued by the bird because of its different appearance. It
had dark wings (black) with 2 wing bars, a dark back (black not green) with some
yellow streaking. I was able to also see the head very well and it had a black
auriculars with a yellow face. There was clearly yellow above the black
auricular. It also had some black on the throat with yellow on the breast and
the flanks and with fairly dark streaking along the flanks also.

The only other bird in Sibley's that looks anything like what I saw is a
female Blackburnian with yellow on the face and the breast instead of orange,
but Blackburnians don't have any yellow on the back and they also don't have any
black on the throat.

Anyone have any other suggestions?
