My son was also telling me we had Swan Geese, Bill. I've got to listen to him more often!
Have checked my photos, and you were right that I saw two swan geese and a hybrid Graylag / Swan.
Also, thanks to Brian Rapoza and his book for the idea to visit the Gardens.
An interesting birding location with many paths. Must be intriguing during migrations, especially the rear path behind the canal. Any experiences with that area?
