I'd recommend that you consider Brown-crested Flycatcher instead of Ash-throated (your bird is too pale-bellied and dark-billed to be a Geat Crested). To my eyes, the bill is too large and stout to be an Ash-throated, and I cannot see any hint of the dark border and tip on the tail that is shown on Ash-throated.
You mentioned hearing the bird, but you didn't descibe the call. The Brown-crested has a loud WHIT call and calls frequently, while (in my experience anyway) Ash-throateds call rarely in Florida, and have a prrrrt call like one of the calls of the Great Crested.
