I do read the FFN John but thanks for reminding me to me to read it more carefully. I've got a copy of Stevenson & Anderson too but I wasn't aware that it automatically updated every time an Eared Grebe was reported. Your copy must be a magic one that self updates. Every eBird submission of Eared Grebe I've reviewed in the eastern Panhandle over the last 10 years has pretty much turned out to be a Horned Grebe. By your own admission it seems they aren't that common in Florida. Maybe you can let us know what species you'd like for birders to post so we don't bother you with "insignificant" sightings anymore. Makes you wonder why people are turned off birding these days.
