As I said, they are occasional in south Florida. That's a way of saying about 1 seen per 5 years or so. In all of Florida they are annual.

If you look in Stevenson & Anderson, you'll see they found enough data to generate numbers from the CBC's. Recent CBC's have found them somewhere pretty much every year. There are also the winter reports in FFN (we go to a lot of effort to compile these, would be nice if people looked at them).

It's just a few, but they do show up. When I was birding a lot more around the state (and less further afield), I would see one about every other year (2 in Brevard, 1 each in Palm Beach, Dade, and Okaloosa). This year, I only have them from Coto Donana, but not anywhere in Florida.
