I haven't been to Green Cay in about a year so it's kinda hard for me question your sightings, but is there any chance your Purple Swamphens are actually Purple Gallinules? Six just seems like high number for even where they are known to be seen and you made no mentions of any Gallinules which is another reason why I was asking.
