This weekend has been great for birdwatching! Many birds around. I've a very big amount of Mockingbirds around my area. I mean there just everywhere! In my backyard I found a beautiful Prothonotary Warbler along with prairies, black and whites, coopers hawk, and 2 ovenbirds.
My trip to the road across matheson was very good. The highlights were a couple Chimney Swifts, Red-shouldered Hawk(northern race), Barn Swallows, Hill Mynas, Belted Kingfisher and 2 Blue Grosbeak, lifer!!(on the weeds all the way at the end of the trail). There was also a bunting calling around there. Like Paul says, Life is good...
