eBird has TWO Hotspots, both with exactly the same name: "Virginia Key Ecosystems Restoration Area". The S Hotspot has 5 reports of WESP and is located on Virginia Beach DR. The N Hotspot has 2 reports of WESP and is located at the intersection of Sewage Plant RD and Arthur Lamb Jr RD.
Which of those TWO Hotspots should we use: S or N ?
(I spent 4 unsuccessful hours on Sunday, 12-2-12. All I got was an unreportable mystery bird; it had the right color and size; but all the key field marks were totally hidden by vegetation--especially the bill. It was about 800' W of the chartreuse tape, on the S side of the E-W dirt jeep trail running along the S boundary of the mountain-bike-trail area, about 10' below the elevation of the jeep trail, near the base of the embankment, perched on twigs about 1' above the ground. I will probably try again next week.)
