Last year's two Vermilion Flycatchers were both immature and did not have their full color when they arrived. There is a good chance that this is one of those two birds returning. In other words, it's at most its second visit here.

There have previously been one or more Vermilion Flycatchers at that location (e.g. Fall 2003-Spring 2004 and Fall 2004-Spring 2005).

If you knew of any present there in the years in-between, they were not reported. It would have been nice to know about them.
