cave swallows

I have noticed several flocks of around 20-30 Cave swallows in Everglades National Park yesterday and today(Feb 2-3). They seem to be the Mexican race, with buffy rumps and very light throats. Is this normal? I confess to only paying attention to separating the Mexican race from the Caribbean race for the first time this week.
