Beth thought she heard a rail to the right of the caravan in the area where we heard the Sora but we couldn't ID it.

The lighting was horrible where the Black-bellied Plovers were sighted. Were the Least Sandpipers in with them?

As for the Broad-winged/Swainson's Hawk -- it was flushed and soon gone but then circled around and landed on a power pole. This is where Carl wanted to stop to put a scope on it but we were running over our time limit. I'm not sure, even though he did pull over and stop briefly, if he was able to get an ID. Did you ID it when it flushed, when it was airborne, or when it landed on the power pole?

I realize that these questions could be communicated off-list but thought people who were on the trip would be interested in seeing the discussion.
