Urgent: Red-legged Honeycreeper

Im the veterinarian at Miami Museum of Science's wildlife hospital, and someone just turned in a red-legged honeycreeper that they found in a parking lot in Coral Gables.

Is there any possibility this could be a wild bird?

Or is this likely somone's pet or from a zoo/aviary?

Not sure if we should consider releasing it???

Help needed ASAP! I do have a photo but cannot post at the moment.
