Nov. 27th I saw 2 Hooded Mergansers on the north fresh-water lake at Mt. Everglades, ENP, past gate 15, Research Road. They appeared to be young or females and the distance I observed them from was about 300-400 yds., through a scope. They didn't have the white breasts like the Red-breasted have and their crests seemed to have been fuller. I'm about 90% sure what I saw were Hooded Mergansers.
