I was at the Annex later in the morning. I found a small flycatcher at the second fig tree on the left as you enter the Annex.
I tried playing calls from Least, Alder, Pewee, Acadian and no response......this bird got very excited by the Willow Flycatcher call and started jumping around answering back with a "wit" call. This bird stayed up at the top of the trees and kept moving more like a gnatcatcher/warbler than a flycatcher, never sitting still for more than a few seconds.
As always, I would appreciate any help with the ID!
