Next time try to record the call if you ever get the chance... many don't believe that Willows have been identified here in Florida....Though I've seen and heard two in the last five years. Toe has had the same... Others saw and heard the one we had at the Annex a few years ago, but none of us thought to make recordings.
Seems to me you had a Willow... I imagine they come through every year, they just don't call; so we call them Traills... You were fortunate to have the bird call for you... Congrats.
