We live approx 1 mile South of Sadowski Park. On 9/27 at 2:45pm, on 9/29 at 9:45am, and today 10/4 at 5:15pm I've seen one slim two-toned gray bird after hearing a quiet squeaky sound in our back yard. The little bird is slim, dark gray on top and light gray on the bottom. It is approx. 2 1/2 to 3 inches crown to upper tail coverts plus approx a 2 inch tail. I first saw it hopping quickly fron branch to branch in our small live oak tree, approx. 6-10 ft high. It flicked its tail a lot and moved quickly, head up and head down. Then it disappeared in about 20 seconds. The 2nd date it exhibited the same behavior in our wild tamarind tree. Today it started out in the live oak, then moved to the wild tamarind, then flew through our wild lime tree & disappeared. It moves & turns so fast that I can't get a good look at it - either with or without binoculars. Today I had a camera handy, but it moved too fast. Any suggestions?
