A couple weeks ago I posted sightings from a May 30-June 6 trip. As dumb luck would have it, I now have a sudden business trip which is going to bring me right back, this coming Friday through Monday! I will probably have very early Fri and perhaps Sat or Sun to try again. So I am wondering if anyone might be willing to share tips on locating the following, which I missed then:

1. Blue-crowned Parakeet--any Ft. Lauderdale sites? I tried at Evergreen Cemetery (which is very close to where we'll be staying in Ft. Lauderdale) but missed.
2. Dusky-headed Parakeet--another non-countable but I saw that someone had one at Fairhaven NH in Miami; Alex--would you be willing to share your site?
3. Mealy Parrot & Crimson-fronted--literature suggests in the area but haven't seen any recent reports.
4. Chestnut-fr. Macaw
5. Spot-breasted Oriole--does anyone know of a site in Ft. Lauderdale? I heard one at Evergreen Cemetery but perhaps there's a better spot nearby.
6. Mangrove Cuckoo & Black-whiskered Vireo--heard both but saw neither. Are there any sites in Ft. Lauderdale or Miami?

Lastly--we are also scheduled to visit Tampa/St. Pete on Thurs. Does anyone have any tips or recent info on finding Rose-ringed and Black-hooded Parakeets, Budgy, and Ringed Turtle-Dove there, or knows someone who might be willing to share that info?

Any tips are most appreciated--

Best regards from the Northwest

Scott Atkinson
