Yes, C.c. paludicola is the subspecies. Interestingly, the Everglades Racer is restricted to the eastern Everglades and the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale areas, while they are surrounded by the much darker Southern Black Racer (C. c. priapus) that inhabit the Florida Keys, SW Florida and the Lake Okeechobee area northwards.
I have not heard the term "Everglades Blacksnake", but I'm sure it applies to the two racer subspecies in South Florida.
Regarding the Indigo Snake, they are still present in the Everglades. A friend of mine photographed a DOR, or dead-on-road, adult within wet marl prairie! Believe it or not, their last stronghold in Miami-Dade is within Australian Pine woods fringed with mangroves and canals.
Unlike bird taxonomy, which is fairly straightforward, snake taxonomy is absolutely convoluted and daunting.
