Agreed that "out of the way, etc is exciting."

Agreed I have no interest in building records

Agreed I have an interest in sharing my sighting that others can follow or disregard or check out.

Agreed for taxonomists and serious birders as yourself and others records are essential but not everyone is an expert or even wants to be.

Agreed Paul Simon was a great poet and singer.

Hopefully agreed that you and I have no quarrel and you certainly are welcome at my campfire anytime.

So how about, (for everyones' sake) when a unusual bird is posted as to place and time we say, "that's interesting.....or I thought it was extinct.....or can you get us a picture or tape recording...." as opposed to saying me or thee or whoever never saw one for x number of years. That could be a cordial way of keeping people interested and involved on the page. Heavens, I see many Cape Florida, or A.D. Barnes unusual sightings posted or even the "Old Squaw" sightings as posted later proved with more people seeing and confirming but some maybe never see it. I believe Trey is still looking for robins. I saw robins. I heard robins at Green Cay. It settles out as he didn't see them I did and that is the most you can say about the situation.
