After reading Robin's post, Judd Patterson and I decided to bird our environs, which is just a stone's-throw away from Cape Florida. Insane number of Northern Parulas (hundreds) and Black-and-white Warblers (dozens). Lots of Palms, several Prairies and Yellow-throateds, a couple of Myrtles. The birds swarmed all around us, feeding along the oaks and ficus trees. Incredible. Judd is still down there...I'll bet he'll find a Swainson's. Gotta run, home is waiting. Judd will post some estimates later.
