I checked out the same hammock again this evening. While the numbers were down, I still counted more than 50 Northern Parula in less than an hour. They were really feasting on insects in the canopy.
As I type this a Chuck-will's-widow is calling from my apartment complex here in Cutler Bay. It's great to see and hear these migrants!
