Gumbo Limbo Trail has the tamest Hermit Thrush I've ever seen in my life. This past Saturday it was hopping around in the leaf litter and when I spotted it and froze it looked at me then actually hopped TOWARD me...right out into the trail at my feet. I could've stepped on it. I've had Ovenbirds do that but not a Hermit Thrush. I saw it in the same vicinity three weeks ago as well so it's been there for awhile. It was in the part of the trail near the "solution holes" (the eastern side...as opposed to the Ingraham Hwy side).
