Hi everyone.
I'm a US birder visiting Florida for a week in July.
Can you help me finally find a couple of elusive birds I need for my US list please?

Burrowing Owl
I've spend/wasted literally hours at definite cast-iron dead cert sites in the past and cant find them (San Francisco). They've been eaten by cats (Phoenix) I was arrested for looking through the fence (Miami Airport). I'm going to be in Marathon in the Keys in July. Can anyone give me specific directions to a colony? Alternatively I'll be in South Dadeland for a night later in the month. Where are they at Kendall airfield?

Cave Swallow
No such disasters seeking these. i've not even had chance to look. I'll be on the Florida Tunpike and can turn off to check the 216 Ave site but all my references say evening and morning. what chance lateish afternoon? Alternatively i seem to remember a post last year from someone who had seen them on another raised highway nearer kendall. Anyone remember that? and if so is a safe area to cycle to? I can't find the post now so i can't find the location.

Hope you can help
Thank you

Graham Langley UK birder.
