As some might have guessed. My #1 grudge bird is a Mangrove Cuckoo. Thirty years ago, I was walking out of Snake Bight and happened to notice a pair of cuckoos. But I was not very sophisticated and didn't bother to notice which species. I've been haunted by them ever since, trying to sight one on multiple occasions without success. The curse ends this week!
